Information and purpose

We collect information through our website, webinar forms and business interactions. This may include your name, contact details, business name, role, CIDB grade and information relevant to an enquiry or engagement.

We use it to respond to enquiries, manage webinars, provide services, administer relationships and meet legal obligations. Required fields are identified. Optional information is your choice. Missing required details may prevent us from responding or providing the requested service.

Newsletters and invitations

Webinar registration does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Newsletters and future invitations are sent with your consent or where otherwise permitted by POPIA. You may unsubscribe at any time without affecting attendance or earlier lawful processing.

Sharing and protection

We use providers such as Google Forms, Google Meet, website hosting and email services. Information may be shared with authorised advisers or authorities where necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal information. Providers processing it on our behalf must protect it and use it only for authorised purposes. Transfers outside South Africa must meet POPIA’s requirements.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and retain information only for its purpose, legal obligations or legitimate recordkeeping needs. Thereafter, it is securely deleted, destroyed or deidentified.
 

Your rights

Subject to legal limitations, you may request access, correction or deletion, object to processing or withdraw consent by emailing fiona@jalanala.com. Identity verification may be required.
